Hoteliers never sleep so don’t have the issue of getting out of bed and they aren’t in the business for the big bucks so will be interested in regular wins rather than one big jackpot payout and that is why flexing rates is so appealing because it’s the cash machine of life that keeps paying out.

At what point can you say you break even? The point at which you say cheerio to cost and hello to pure profit that drops straight to the bottom line?

Increasing a room rate  isn’t going to be enough to give everyone a pay rise but doing it regularly should make holes in your wage bills.

You will realise by now that rate management requires some effort but at least you will be sitting down.
